“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” So, if you’re having a tough time relaying why giving matters for your congregation - whether it’s donating their time and money to a good cause, or tithing for their church - here are 12 Bible verses to help you relay the importance of being charitable. In theory, everyone knows that being charitable is a good thing.
